喜歡畫可愛的東西，但又不能太可愛，要保留一點奇怪。

對我來說畫圖是一種抒發，我會把平常不敢說的情緒畫成故事、用風景作品記錄我踩過的土地或是一個人靜靜地坐在桌前畫著熱鬧的小人物。

我不會拘泥於每張作品都要用一樣的表現方式，有時線條、有時色塊，我在保留自我之下呈現不同面向的自己。

I like to draw cute things, but not too cute. Keep it a little weird.

For me, drawing pictures is a kind of expression. I would paint emotions that I usually don’t dare to say as stories, use landscape works to record the land I have stepped on, or sit quietly at the table and draw lively little roles.

I don’t stick to the same way of expression in every work. Sometimes lines and sometimes color blocks, I present myself in different aspects while retaining myself.

這是品牌誕生的由來

The brand “Linjagrass” hopes to heal people and relieve their sadness through painting.

The first part of the brand name “linja” is derived from the illustrator’s name—Lin Jiarong.

The brand name also includes the word “grass” because the illustrator longs to leisurely lie on a grassland.

Some of Linjagrass’ works portray melancholy while some of them are about funny things in daily life.

On the grassland of Linjagrass, you will never know what the next work will be.

Patty Tsai 蔡貝桾。全職插畫家。擅長水彩、釉下彩。創作圍繞時尚、街拍、肖像及動物等主題。範疇涵蓋陶藝及壁畫。

學學文創志業約聘講師，曾與Chanel /Paul & Joe /新光三越/ 10/10 APOTHECARY/ 濕地venue 等單位合作，並接受人間衛視《創藝多腦河》第838集【清新暈染水彩霸氣動物】電視專訪。 

2020於濕地venue繪製大型壁畫並聯合主辦《LE MONDE DE PATTY》插畫陶藝個展。

Patty Tsai (Pei-chun Tsai). I am a full-time illustrator who specializes in watercolor and underglaze. My artworks revolve around fashion, street photography, portraits, and animals, and my art forms of choice are ceramic art and murals.

I am a part-time lecturer at Xue Xue Institute, and I have also collaborated with Chanel, Paul & Joe, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, 10/10 APOTHECARY, VENUE, and others. Also, I received an interview by Beautiful Life Television’s Super Artists Design, which was aired in the show’s 838th episode: “Fierce Animals in Fresh Watercolors”.

In 2020, I created large-scale murals at VENUE, and co-hosted LE MONDE DE PATTY, a solo exhibition featuring illustrations and ceramic art.

身為一位兒時便會與鳥類對話的奇異的女子，Dee 是位插畫家、設計師，也是藝術創作者，作品不限於平面畫作，也積極嘗試不同媒材的可能性。插畫常以動物和自然為出發點，以超現實的手法結合人物及場景，試圖跳脫現實的框架。並多以對稱的構圖與重複性的印花，豐富的色彩和詼諧的故事性，展現其獨特繪畫風格。

An inquisitive mind that has been having conversations with birds since young, Dee is an illustrator, designer, and an all round creator with a diverse style.

Dee’s creation always start from her observations of animals and natural surroundings around her. Dee’s tendency to look beyond the confinement of reality allows her to approach her creations with rich patterns as well as a dashes of surrealism, merging and juxtaposing everyday objects with unlikely scenes.

嗨~我是QMo，我是一個兼職的創作者，在工作之餘喜歡攝影、畫圖以及文字撰寫，於是我將我的興趣結合成為我的創作，目前正朝全職插畫創作者的目標努力著。

仿仿Imitate是以我的生活為文本的插畫日記故事，故事圍繞在梅兒（Mer）的日常所見，梅兒在由模仿所組成的奇幻世界中旅行，透過紀錄生活，希望能拼湊出完整的自己。 

Hi, my name is QMo; I am a part-time creator; in addition to my full-time job, I like to do camera shooting, painting, and literature writing, so I want to combine all of these and interest and turn out to be some creation. at the moment, I would like to become a full-time illustration creator and I am working on it as my personal goal.

‘’Imitate’’ is an illustrated-diary type of story based on my personal living. The story is about what Mer experiences and finds in daily life, Mer travel through the fantasy world which is consist of mimic, Hopefully, she can puzzle up the complete herself through the record of the living.

I’m Liu moon eater, a SOHO worker, illustrator also a furry. Furry is another kind of life for me. With a petite, night and moon color-like, a magical mind in my created world by painting, also wearing all different types of my favorite clothes. 

 Painting is not only my way of telling a world but also a process of releasing myself. I hope I can share these with everyone.

Monster AJ

Monster AJ，台灣設計師，畢業於國立台灣科技大學工業設計系，畢業後遠赴溫哥華求學，並於當地星巴克擔任咖啡師。2017年返台後，踏上燈光設計師的旅程，在不同的領域追求同樣的事情⏤設計。這樣的經歷成就了屬於自己的故事，也開拓了人生視野。設計，攝影，塗鴉，咖啡以及玩具，是生活日常，亦是創作來源。藝術創作，設計攝影是人生不可或缺的態度，更豐富了人生旅途中的每一步。

Monster AJ, a designer, was born in Taiwan, and had got the bachelor degree in design at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. After four-year study, an overseas adventure began. Vancouver, a second place, to get the master degree also worked as a barista trainer at the Starbucks. As a citizen in a global village can broaden the horizons as well as respect the diversity and inspire the creativity. In 2017, came back to Taiwan as a lighting designer, in different fields pursue the same thing⏤ Design. These experiences make her always be curious about everything, and has her own meaning of life. Design, photography, doodle, coffee and toys, are all about her daily life which the inspiration comes from. Creativity is a goal and an attitude towards the lifelong journey. Do more and become a better me is the motto.

猴人魚 Monkey Mermaid

張嘉慧 ZHANG JIA HUI

我喜歡把畫面塞滿，在細節中藏巧思，想讓他人在畫面裡找故事。

猴人魚的誕生緣自於自己與喜愛的事物。

透過生活中的各種靈感與經歷，經由插畫創作，轉換成天馬行空的有趣故事。

雖然生活忙碌的一成不變，但繪畫為我的生命填上了豐富的色彩。

我喜歡繪畫，且會一直畫下去。

I like to put a lot of details and passion into my creation. Each piece of my artwork has stories hidden inside its frame.

‘The Monkey Mermaid’ was created base on my self-imagine and things I love in my life.

Illustration for me is a process and is really fun and interesting. I turn my ordinary daily life into surreal pieces of work through illustration, and the progress always add colours back into my life.

I enjoy being an illustrator and will definitely continue drawing and painting to put more meanings into the world.

MILLY X Chen Chiung Yi

來自台北、文山、景美溪旁，受溪水不息的灌溉與餵養，想有如波光一樣以各種視角觀察與思考，在悲傷中尋求安樂、尷尬中取得和諧。

時常感嘆人生之苦，但同時竊喜自己的豐衣足食，身為一個利他範圍極小的人，試著成為一個稍微大愛的創作者，本次參展與攝影師好友合作，希望透過不同媒材的結合有所突破，提供一點對世界想像的養分給與也許貧乏的人。

From Wanshen nearby the Jingmei River in Taipei, I have been well norished by the river and a beloved family. Besides, I tend to think things diffriently to find the inner peace and also make a balance from my life experience. In my viewpoint, I believe that life is too short to waste , therefore I decide to become a illustrator caring for our society on my own way. I sincerley hope that every vistors who came to our joint exhibition this time would not only have a enjoyable experiencee, but also be inspired by our works. 黃詩雯 Shi-Wen Huang

一位插畫設計師。常常在手放鬆時描繪線條，忠於黑白線條勝於彩色，希望創作像拿 下眼鏡後視線模糊的樣子，帶點超現實的童趣和詩意。嗜讀繪本，喜歡圖文間的視覺 趣味，也樂於和孩子一起作畫，關注藝術教育、兒童文學領域。

Shi Wen Huang is an illustrator. She often draws in black and white lines rather than color. She hopes to create a look like a blurry look after taking off my glasses, with a bit of surreal childlikeness and poetry. She is interested in reading pictures, liking the visual interest between pictures and texts. Working with children makes her happy and she enjoys paying attention to art education and children’s literature.

孟芸云

一九九七年出生於高雄，作品與作者本身充滿矛盾；大多數憤怒又抑鬱，當然也有幸福與愛的時候。

我不認為自己是創作者，我只是一個喜歡透過繪畫記錄和嘮叨的人。

大量的自畫像，在每一個階段。不只是透過此詢問著自己是誰，同樣的探索著所處的世界、身邊的人們是什麼模樣？

答案是什麼，至今我也不知道。

單純地想用顏色、結構、線條等各種方式留下每一刻的不朽，興許是留戀也或許是為了傳達理想，更多的是想從靜默當中，找到與自己頻率相當的人。

感觸到的喜悅與悲傷；幸福與痛楚，是我與人們和世界的共鳴與連結，再觸動的瞬間，使我們牽引再一起，充滿愛的。

創作或許不能改變現實，卻可以承載住悲愴，希望卑微的自己可以帶來些許的溫暖，僅此而已。

Born in 1997 from Kaohsiung, works and author is full of contradictions.

Most of the time my works and I are indignation and depression. Nonetheless, sometimes have happiness and love.

“I do not think I am a creator , I just a person who love drawing and nagging.”

I painted amount of self-portrait in every stage during my daily life.

Not only used this way to ask myself who am I , but also exploring this world which I live and presenting people who around me.

Until now, the answer about those question is ”I DO NOT KNOW.”

Simply , I used the various ways to record the immortal moment, perhaps for nostalgia or convey some opinions. Mostly I want to find someone who has similar frequency to him/herself from me.

In that time , we may feeling similar joy , sorrow , happiness and pain on different things ; those are the resonances and connections between me and the people who feeling and been touch of my works , at this moments we will have connect with each other.

Arts maybe couldn’t change this worlds but it could carrying disconsolate feeling. Hope I have ability to bring some warm and comfort.

A Lemon 一顆檸檬

感性與理性的小劇場時常在內心上演著,高中大學時期喜歡塗鴉,卻不知道插畫這個浩瀚的宇宙,在職場遊走一段時間後,決定當隻海底的魚兒,朝著這片插畫大海中游去。

Lemon Wu is an illustrator from Taoyuan. She likes to doodle something from her senior high school, but didn’t know the “illustration” in the arts field. Working for many years, and decide to be a fish swimming in the sea of the illustration word.

SHUMA

SHUMA / 陳書怡 Serena Chen

在台北長大，於國立臺南大學視覺藝術設計系畢業，目前在美國生活並進行自由創作中。 作品圍繞著自己的幻想世界，裡面有著各種千奇百怪的生物與植物 ，而這些小生命在這世界裡建立起許多不同的文明與社會。藝術家Shuma就如同這些世界的觀察者，記錄著這世界的變化與成長。

Taipei is the city where I grew up. I received my BFA in visual art and design from the National University of Tainan. In the past three years, I have been working and living in the United States as a freelance artist.

I am very much inspired by my surroundings and I often like to mix what is happening around me with imagination. In my creative and imaginary world, there are various fictional plants and animal species forming their systems of living.

The artist, Shuma, records all the growth and activities in that world as an observer.
