In my childhood, my favorite color is black and white. Teacher said the lesson today is drawing a road. I add a beggar in it, and told my teacher”It is his home.” In 2018, every friend close to me was told ” I’m gonna be a illustrator.” Starting my illustration journey with Lucy Chen. After a year, bringing self-published book, took the Bologna Fair. I’m so exciting to meet my artwork at Bologna Fair’s mail room. Lining up with artist around the world, waiting for the publisher say” Your artwork is special, but not suitable for our company.”

After graduating from the Department of Advertisement, I have been working for years in graphic design. About two years ago, I started to operate my tiny fan page for illustration known as <Barely Okay Life> to share exciting stories in my life to friends by way of illustration. At the end of 2019, I decided to focus on pursuing my dream of producing illustration to all the ages.
The theme of the exhibition is another series of my creation called <Unlucky Kenny>, which present unlucky events or awkward moments that occurred from time to time in our lives through illustration. When drawing the awkward and trouble face of Kenny, it felt like reliving the moment of my life, which was surprisingly soothing and also became the fun during the course of creation.

Lee Has Yi, is graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in Applied
and Media Arts – The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. A design
professional with 10+ years of experience who lives and works in Hong
Kong. She is a self-taught artist who fascinated on modern and traditional art
and Chinese painting. After travelling and working in London for a year, she
set up her own working studio for commercial design work and drawing
development. In terms of her penchant for the mixture of misty colour, clean
lines and realistic style, inspiration comes from her experience and living
city, subject matter aligns with human attitudes of moral, fear and death, she
transfers those cultural contexts and imaginations to a visual language for her
artwork.
Isaac Spellman (b.1995) graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University,
Academy of Visual Arts in 2018. He is currently an illustrator based in Hong
Kong. He specialises in digital illustrations under influences of the pop
culture, ancient history and witchcraft. In his artworks, he tries to transform
modern beauty into his own aesthetics, while corresponding to his self

Kaneiya (Tainan, 1985) is a Taiwanese freelance Illustrator.
She paint with a variety of medium (watercolour, ink, coloured pencils, oil
paint, Acrylic, and digital art) for different job requirements and received
several awards in recent years. After multiple attempts, she was charmed by
the”flowing lines”. She was focused on portraying lithe and elegant
girls in 2019, representative works are portraits sketching and the series of
the earth fairies.

M.SUNWU, aka 猴太子, is an illustrator, musician, weird guy from U.K.
At the age of 18, he enrolled in Bexhill College to study Music Technology, Film, Photography and Media before securing a position to annoy their tutors (with lots of questions) studying Fine Art at Hastings College. After growing bored of the linear style of the course, he found a new adventure in recording and creating music…using a microphone balanced in a shoe (haven’t you heard of Lo-Fi?)
This passion eventually lead him to leave his home town and travel to Bath to gain a Diploma in Music Production before moving to London in pursuit of a Masters Degree In Popular Music.
Now after working with clients such as TWITCH, Schwarzkopf & OPEL and delving into projects with the British Arts Council and Edinburgh Fringe, he seeks their next big adventure in the tropical paradise of Taiwan.
Between illustrating and composing, he learns Mandarin at Taiwan Normal University to speak to their parent-in-laws (even if it is just to ask for more delicious food), day-dreams about living in a Sci-Fi movie and keeps up to date with mental health advocacy, especially Autism.
Ziroziro is a media artist. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Arts in animation. Her approaches include experimental animation, drawings and prints. Different techniques can be found in her work. The process is predominant the subject matter in her conceptual pieces. Her latest film had been selected in Zebra poetry festival in Germany 2019.
Participating the illustration art fair this year, because animation can be seen as a sequence of images. In response to the theme this year “whywhywhy” which means “badbadbad” in Mandarin language, When you look at individual frame, does it look bad as it is ? But as a sequence there is a meaning to convey. Should we focus on the process more than the result itself, for each artwork and for our achievements as well.
Better at drawing than talking. She likes to transform and
recreate ordinary objects into an unexpected artwork. Always want to bring some
small but interesting things in her works. Also, if it is possible, hope those
illustrations can become someone’s oasis in such a messy world.
Yu-Ting Cheng is an illustrator, maker, and dreamer currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. Born and raised in Taiwan, educated in the United States, received a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She loves to create works that viewers can physically interact with, explore, and feel.

Asum Lee was born in Taipei, Taiwan. An illustrations, mandala creator, psychology enthusiasts.
She graduated from the Department of Architecture of National Cheng-Kung University and was the editor of the journal of architecture and green life.
She is also a person who loves murmur and daydreaming. She is good at change abstract feelings into pictures. Warm tones and delicate brushstrokes are usually presented in Asum’s works. Also, pastel crayon and color pencil are her favorable materials for drawing. The subjects of her works are mostly from the observation of daily life, the reflection of life, and the description of her own heart. Asum tries to use paintings to observe others, and teach others to observe themselves by painting.

I am ” deliciousy meatloaf”, a person who often
forgets about the fact of being alive. I grow in a house, in which lives a
washing machine monster that feed on socks. I put my lifelong enthusiasm into
raise an unusual large white Shiba Inu. I prefer things in imbalanced state
than in equivalent. My works are portrayals of anomalous dreams. Dreams are
like illusions, and they present modern drama, pornography and violence mixed
with a little bit happiness for me. I myself turn “dreams” into real
art works, so I no longer need to dream about grogeous and unattainable wonderful
future. All I want is bring all the precious memories in this life with me to
the next life.
Started with graffiti in 2007, picked up the spray and painting in the streets of Taiwan under the name of Mouse, the plague spread from South to North. Being often asked, “Why are you called CreepyMouse? ” Because graffiti people are like mice in public eye, searching and taking people’s food without anyone notice in the middle of night, so graffiti people took away the city walls as pieces of canvas for graffiti, the feeling of rebellious and full of character to the public which is also known Creepy.
Follow with Calligraphy in 2011, first started with Gothic body for practice, eventually contacted a number of domestic and foreign Calligrapher and learn from them, finally applied Calligraphy onto graffiti / art, also was invited to join the International artistic team “Calligraffiti” in 2015. As for the content of the work is mainly inspired in life emotions, sometimes it’s inspired from life, applied on the art piece which link the word and reality together at the end, making it a kind of combination of graphic design layout concept.
Hsi Chun Huang – TOP 60 MASTERS OF CONTEMPORARY ART 2019 AWARD ARTIST(1985) was born in Taipei, Taiwan.
After getting an art degree at the National Taiwan University of Arts, Hsi Chun chose Europe as a starting point to begin his full-time creation in 2013. He loves to observe and portray the moments that touch him in his daily life, obsessed with just saving bits of memories, of moments in time, and create an intimacy that engages the audiences to enjoy a world of imagination in their own perspectives.

Taipei-based domain-crosser of fine art and cognitive linguistics. Completed her BFA in Painting at Taipei National University of the Arts in 2012, then completed her MA in Linguistics at National Taiwan University in 2016. In 2019, her interdisciplinary study of paintings has been published in a Walter de Gruyter book series.
Her subjects include figures and animals, focusing on the expression of emotions, intimacy, fragility, gender fluidity, and the urban experience in Taipei.

Innate curiosity has brought up my slow pace on everything including doing art works. Thanks to the ability to imagine more completely with the slow personality, I paint my inner world in a delicate way.
If take some kind of music style to describe my works, it would be a remix of R&B and Nagashi. That may be a weird one but funny, telling those daily thoughts of mine about love, contradictory times and melancholy sweetness of life.
Lady C graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University with a master’s degree in Applied Arts. She is an ordinary full-time career woman, but also an adjunct teacher of art and design.She sometimes works on piecework basis for the cases of design, in order to cultivate moral character.
After she got depression, she regained the enthusiasm of drawing. In addition to record down those bizarre dreams caused by the illness, she starts to untangle the kinks both in the reality and in her memory. For her, drawing is neither a reverie nor a livelihood, but a one of ways to take care of herself. Her favorite tools are pencils, pastels and blank papers.
